What this site does

https://aneessaban.com is a personal portfolio and blog. There is no public account registration, checkout, or newsletter signup. You can browse the site without giving us your name or email address.

Data we process

When you visit the site

Our hosting infrastructure may automatically process:

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Referring page or URL
• Date and time of access
• Pages requested

We use this data to deliver the site, keep it secure, and troubleshoot failures. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in running a secure website.

When you email us

If you use the contact email address, we receive whatever you choose to send (name, email address, message content). We use that to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, or steps at your request before a contract where relevant.

Admin access

The site owner may log into a private admin area to manage content. That uses authentication cookies and account data stored on our servers. This does not apply to ordinary visitors.

Third parties

• Hosting provider — stores server logs and site files.
• Google Fonts — typography is loaded from Google servers; Google may receive your IP address when fonts are fetched. See the cookie policy.
• External links — pages such as brands, mining, and career link to third-party sites with their own privacy rules.

Retention

Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations, then deleted or anonymised. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted unless we have a legal reason to keep it longer.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Erase data in certain cases
• Restrict or object to processing in certain cases
• Data portability where processing is based on consent or contract and is automated
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

To exercise these rights, email anees@saban.world. You may also lodge a complaint with Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP), the Dutch data protection authority.

We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
